Acceptable use

Acceptable use policy

Effective 15 August 2026

This policy states how CloakRDP workspaces and accounts may be used. It sits alongside the Terms of Service. CloakRDP may suspend or terminate access for violations.

Network and service abuse

You must not use the service to scan, attack, flood, or disrupt CloakRDP infrastructure or third-party networks. You must not attempt to bypass CloakRDP’s private access path, expose remote-desktop access directly to the public internet, or interfere with VPN egress controls.

You must not send unsolicited bulk messages, operate malware command-and-control, or use the workspace in a way that threatens other customers or the underlying platform.

Account and credential use

You are responsible for activity under your customer number. Do not share recovery codes or passwords in a way that lets someone else control the account without your authorization. CloakRDP may treat unauthorized use as a security incident.

Content and software you install

Delivered workspaces include Administrator access so you can install software. You are responsible for that software and for data you store in the workspace. CloakRDP does not review every file you create.

Enforcement

CloakRDP may investigate suspected abuse using operational and security records. Those records are separate from the VPN traffic logging policy described in the Privacy policy. CloakRDP may suspend a workspace or account, refuse new orders, or terminate service when this policy is violated.
